Not summer. Not fall. Somewhere in-between. But the sun didn't care. It was trying to bust past those leaves and didn't care what the season was. It was the light that drew me to this scene, but it was the muffled quiet that made me want to linger there. This was in Proud Lake Rec Area, a hidden treasure surrounded by suburbia.
